For more than two decades, Brad has crafted brands, marketing and growth strategies for some of the most innovative companies in technology, healthcare, biotech and non-profits. Brad founded Surge Agency in 2007 based on his own frustration with vast array of agencies and consultants he retained over the years. Consultants would leave big ideas on the table, but not execute. Branding agencies would recommend approaches based on the teams they employed. And a range of tactical vendors would work behind the scenes to fill in the gaps. He formed Surge based on the concept of offering expert strategy that could be executed by independent, agile teams with the right skills to serve clients’ needs. Throughout his career, Brad has led the marketing efforts for large health systems, technology companies and start-ups alike. His passion is enabling the ideas of innovators, regardless of company size, who aren’t satisfied with the status quo.
